This is a review I am sure no one ever wants to write because then you know we had to make one of those difficult decisions to put down our amazing doggy. I can honestly saw that it was a calm and relaxing experience for my dog Enzo. The staff and Dr. were so patient with me, I never felt rushed to say goodbye and I know Enzo got to go in the comfort of his home with no stress. Thank you again for making this situation so easy on me and my family. I would recommend them to anyone that needs to make the difficult decision for their pet.

This was the hardest thing that I have had to do. DR Fixler and his Assistant Holley were a blessing in my time of sorrow. They made my and my boy very comfortable with what was about to happen. We will always be grateful to Dr. Fixler and his wonderful staff for their kindness and patience during a very hard time. We would recommend them to anyone who has to make this painful decision. It was very peaceful, and we are so glad we didn't have to say goodbye in a cold office, but at home and in peace.

It all started about 1 year ago. Griff had an eating problem. After he ate anything hard, the water in his bowl would turn light red. I took him off hard dog food and started him on canned food. He was able to eat that but he had to chew it until is turned to slime before he could swallow it. And even then, it was hard for him to swallow. Over the last year, he has lost about 20 pounds and I have spent over $3,000 on vets and nobody could give me an answer. Over the last month, I have watched his health degrade. His eyes were becoming recessed in his head, he was having trouble drinking water and all his sparkle had gone away. I refused to let him suffer anymore. 2 days ago, I called HAPPY ENDINGS IN HOME EUTHANSIA and scheduled them to come to my house this morning. I used then a number of years ago. I took him for a truck ride this morning and he was happy. Happy Endings sedated him. He felt nothing. No pain from the injection. The doctor and his assistant were very compassionate. I really appreciated that. Griff was just 4 years old but he was a major part of my life. My other dog was there and witnessed his death but I don't think he realizes that Griff will not be coming home again. We both have a lot of adjustments to make. Thank you for all your thoughts. I can't say enough good things about Happy Endings and Dr. Fixler and his staff. They were really there for us at a very difficult time. Their patience and kindness were so comforting. It was our Blaze kitty's time and my husband was out of town for his father's funeral and I couldn't drive anywhere due to having seizures in the past few months. If it wasn't for Dr. Fixler and his assistant coming out, I very truly don't know what I would have or even could have done. They brought me so much peace of mind and helped reduce my stress. Thank you. And, I should have remembered Dr. Fixler's assistant's name and for that I am truly sorry. She was so kind. I had forgotten the doctor's name as well, but his name was on the paperwork. I was a little preoccupied when they came.

Deciding to put our dog Koda to rest was the hardest decision. We watched her struggle for a week and we knew it was time. Our vet here in Gilbert recommended Happy Endings and we could not be more grateful and thankful for their care. We wanted Koda to be at home with us and comfortable. As soon as they arrived I felt this overwhelming sense of compassion that they really cared. It’s hard to find that in people let alone someone who is in this situation daily. Making the decision to put my wonderful cat Lucky to sleep was so hard to do. Lucky hated the vet no matter which one we went to which is why I decided to do in home euthanasia. Dr Fixler and Gail came in to my home and sat down on the living room floor and Lucky went right over to him. He petted her and talked to her. He was so compassionate and considerate. They made a very difficult time much easier to face. The took their time and gave me all the time I needed to say “goodby”. I can’t say how pleased I was with their service.

Dr. Fixler and Grace were more kind, patient and informative than we could have imagined in helping us send our long time friend and family member Stanley on to better things. I was referred to you by Drs. Lawmaster a week ago late Monday evening. I was reaching out with such dread in my heart, I couldn’t make a commitment. My call was immediately responded to with compassion and understanding. Finally. early Tuesday morning I knew waiting was no longer an option, if I wanted Sugar to go in peace. I contacted Dr Fixler’s Office at 6 am and was scheduled for 11:30 AM. My Sugar was able to enjoy his breakfast, lay outside in the cooler weather with his buddy Max and then come inside and nap. When Dr. Fixler and his tech arrived, Sugar was resting. Dr. evaluated my little guy and helped ease my mind with my decision. He Shared what to expect and answered my questions, every single one of them. I wanted to know my Sugar wouldn’t feel any stinging or pain. We said our goodbyes, while my littlest angel drifted away peacefully. I am comforted in knowing My little 3 lb. Sugar has been fully restored to perfect health and happiness once again. ❣️ If death can be beautiful, this was. Thank you so much for that gift Dr. Fixler. And to your team for their responsiveness, care and compassion.

This was a very bad experience. You came in, dressed in very dark colors, had a dark towel, ready to euthanize my kitty, Max. You asked if he would bite - I said I don't know, when he is scared he runs and hides so I had him in the small bathroom. You said you needed him to be in a small room. I thought at least he would have a chance to calm down and I could be with him. I thought this was going to be a loving, calm environment, that's why I had it done at home. Before I knew it, You went in ready to grab him with a towel and give him a shot to put him to sleep. I can't believe it happened this way - so fast and the last thing he saw was the two of you getting ready to grab him. This is not what I wanted for Max or for me. I'm totally blaming myself for the way he died an letting you into the bathroom in that way. That was his last memory, and mine of him. When you came out you asked if I wanted to see him - He was laying there on the floor, he looked dead already. I asked if he could hear me or know I'm there - you said no. I never said he was a wild cat, he's not, he just gets afraid of strangers. He would get defensive if he is hurt like any other animal. I told you after it was over, how I didn't expect it to be like that. I didn't get anything or any feedback from you. You were out the door as soon as I signed the papers for his ashes and the paper with rainbow bridge on it. This image is with me forever - I'm so sorry you did this to him and to me in this way.

When we received the diagnosis of congestive heart failure on our 12 year old Boston Terrier, Zidane, we decided that when the time came we were going to use an in-home service to help him pass, if we had to make the choice. Well two years later that awful day came, and the decision was made. We got Dr. Fixler's card from our vet's office and every single interaction I had from my first phone call to the dreaded but very needed visit was nothing less than phenomenal. Obviously the service they provide isn't something people are excited to do, but it's a very necessary service. Grace and Dr. Fixler were so wonderful on the day, they explained the process and what would happen, so that we didn't worry that he suffered at all. He even explained to us that he wanted to administer the final shot as quickly as possible after the sedation took effect due to Zi's heart condition. He didn't want to risk anything happen that could cause him to suffer. They took a piece of my heart out of my front gate that morning, and it really does take a special kind of soul to do the job they do. Thank you both for all that you do.

Dr. Fixler and Grace did a wonderful job for us last week. We had to say goodbye to our Lab mix Meko after 15 years of being in our lives. They acted with professionalism and compassion. All of our questions were answered. We were given all the time we needed. We will call Happy Endings again in the futures' if we are in need of their services. Highly recommended.

I was so pleased with the compassion and helpfulness displayed by Dr Fixler and his staff. My precious 10 year old black lab Brady suffered from liver cancer & very suddenly took a turn for the worse. I contacted many vets & nearby hospitals to get help as I was unable to lift Brady to get him into the car to get help. I contacted a friend who was able to provide me with help from Happy Endings. They arranged their schedule to get to us as soon as possible. Although they got to us quickly, Brady passed away peacefully on his own. Dr Fixler allowed us time to say our final goodbyes and very nicely laid my baby on a stretcher covered and took him with out with such dignity. A very nice courier brought Brady’s remains back home to me and was very kind. I highly recommend Happy Endings to anyone who finds it is time to say goodbye to their fur baby. Thank you to the Dr and his very kind staff for making this loss easier.

I just put down my beautiful harlequin great dane because of cancer. I was just in awe of the kindness and empathy that they showed to us. I was so nervous and sad about putting her down. We recently had to say goodbye to our 13 year-old pup because of an aggressive form of cancer. We had heard great things about Happy Endings and Dr. Fixler. Our dog Springer, had cancer and his vet told me it was time. I cannot tell you how wonderful it was to have Dr. Fixler come to our house to take care of Springer. We had to make the sad decision to let our 15 year old lab down due to illness. Happy Endings was sympathetic and professional every step of the way. We want to thank Dr. Fixler for coming out on a Sunday that he was not scheduled to work to euthanize our precious but very sick "Teddy Bear" Our dogs are our children and I especially find their passing traumatizing. Dr. Fixler and his staff provided a wonderful service for my family, as we said goodbye to our Golden Retriever, Copper, after having him for a great 16 years. Dr. Fixler was so very kind and put us all at ease, as he so softly and sweetly eased our best friend out of his pain. We were able to hold Copper in our laps as we said our goodbye's, and he was put to sleep with absolutely no pain at all. Being able to put Copper to sleep, in our home, was invaluable to me. Thank you, Doctor, to you and your staff.

Under the most difficult circumstances, Dr. Fixler and Jackie made us feel as comfortable as possible. They came into our house quietly, respectfully, talked sweetly to my 12 1/2 yr old German Shepherd and made her feel comfortable. They covered her with a blanket while preparing for her procedure. After her sedative I laid beside her, held her and told her what an amazing companion she had been. Dr. Fixler told me to tell him when I was ready to proceed. The end was quick and peaceful. I was at peace knowing my sweet girl had not suffered further by loading her pain wracked body in a car, driving to her vet, and exposing her to unnecessary lights, sounds and smells. She died at home with us. After her death Dr. Fixler and Jackie stepped outside and our other two dogs (Aja's pack) were allowed to come in and say their goodbyes. Dr. Fixler and Jackie then returned, wrapped her body gently in a blanket, placed her on a stretcher and carried her to their van. I will never go through this process again in any other way.

Dr. Fixler and Grace were the most kind, gracious, compassionate people to help guide our sweet Sidney into her final minutes on this Earth. Dr. Fixler helped confirm our decision to proceed with euthanasia, that being one of the hardest decisions we've made to date. Their gentle manner, quiet voices and giving us the absolute last word in where it should occur, offering last minutes with her alone, all added to the comfort of a very difficult decision. I highly recommend Dr. Fixler and his staff. It is never easy to make this decision, but Dr. Fixler underscored that given Sidney's advanced age of 1 month away from 16 years, we were doing the right thing. Their manner made this tough afternoon doable. I can't say enough about Happy Endings. Well done!

We were very appreciative of the way Dr. Fixler handled our 10 year old Golden Retievers passing. It was peaceful. Thank you Happy Endings for making a difficult moment more bearable.

Yesterday I lost my best friend of almost 13 years, Kramer. He was diagnosed with osteosarcoma (bone cancer) and was declining quickly. He was the absolute best dog anyone could ever have and I always told myself, as much as I wanted to keep him with me as long as possible, that I wouldn't subject him to unnecessary pain and suffering and I would give him a peaceful transition surrounded by love and happiness. It was a no brainer who I would call to help me. Happy Endings was there for my best friends when they had to make this tough choice two years ago and I'll never forget how wonderful they were. Dr. Fixler, his technician Grace, and his wife, were all able to support us in making this happen. They were calming and supportive, explaining everything and reassuring me every step of the way. Saying Goodbye to him was, and still is, impossible. But Happy Endings truly made sure that we gave him what we always promised and that gives my heart, though truly broken, so much comfort.

Happy Ending In-home pet euthanasia, I am in complete loss for words. I have never felt so cheated in life. I received my little Kung Fu's ashes and I wished I never used their services. For my memorysake, the only paw print I have of my Sally's existence is on cheap cloud printed paper, with an obnoxious word art rainbow, with her name in a distasteful font, and her paw print smudged. Seemed more like an advertisement for your company than a keepsake with your logo on the paper. You took away something that can never be replaced and I am so heartbroken even more for the loss of my dog, Sally

If I had one wish it would be that people would never have to live without our beloved four-legged family members but we all know that is not possible so when it is time to let them go, I strongly suggest you use Happy Endings. For being the worst week of my life, Alicia talked me through every step with compassion, confidence and complete knowledge of my dog’s specific breed and procedures. For being the worst day of my life, Dr. Fixler and his assistant (who bore tears wi th me) could not have preformed any better or made the circumstances any easier. I truly believe that from the first phone call to the private delivery of my dog’s ashes that all three of these people only cared about my dog’s comfort and safety and me and my family’s hearts. For me, JD was my four-legged soul mate, but I know it is inevitable that I will have to go through this unbearable time again and I can only pray that Dr. Fixler and Alicia will be there for me and my truly loved four- legged best friend.

Today we said goodbye to our beloved dog Flash. Our hearts are broken but Doc. Fixler was so professional, peaceful and gave us time to be with our amazing Flash. A respectful procedure with an incredible team. Thank you so much for everything.

Tonight we faced an agonizing choice. Our German Shepherd Jazzy was having problems that we knew she would not bounce back from. She was 13, had lived a very long and loving life. And although we wanted to be selfish and keep her with us until nature took its course, we knew that was not the proper thing to do for her. So we called Dr. Fixler. His office was very understanding and responsive. They walked us through the process, made sure we were comfortable with everything they were going to do, and gave us time to say our good byes. Jazzy did not suffer on her journey across the Rainbow Bridge. She was treated lovingly and with respect throughout the process. We are very thankful for the compassionate care that Jazzy received, and although the choice was a difficult one, it was made much more tolerable through Dr. Fixler's handling of the situation. Thank you.

I cannot express my thanks fully in mere words for the very sweet manner that Dr. Fixler and Jasmine cared for our dear Sushi in our home and where Sushi always found the most comfort. And my sincere thanks to you, Alicia, for speaking with me care-fully and with an obvious concern for my doubts and confusion with respect to the procedure that would help Sushi on his way.

Michael, if I may, assumed the role of Sushi’s friend, and his guide, from the moment he met us both at our home. And at the precise moment, I believe, that Sushi needed it most, Michael was there to bid him “Sweet Dreams”. How wonderful for Sushi, my Jean-Marie and myself, that the path of three of you ultimately led to our door.

My beloved 'G', an 8 year old Yellow Lab was hit hard with cancer in just the past week. It came on very quickly. Tests showed that it was affecting multiple organs, and at least one of the tumors was rupturing, causing internal bleeding. Surgery could have uncovered even more, resulting in euthanizing him right on the operating room table, as the odds given were very low for a good outcome. At best, my 'G' only had two to three days left, and the closer it got to the end, the more he would have suffered.

My 'G' was a very integral part of my daily life. He wasn't just a beautiful dog, he was Family. He was smart, funny and very loving. I owed it to him to let him leave this world in a dignified manner, and letting him go at a Vet office on a table wasn't an option I would ever consider. I brought him home after he was given a transfusion by IV and also a sedative. I made him comfortable at home, spending the evening with him, sitting right by his side. As bedtime approached, I then spent the entire night lying next to him, petting his head and side to sooth him while he fell asleep, with soft music playing in the background at a low volume.

The next morning, my 'G' rallied for a while, going outside for his morning break, and even laying on our bed in his usual spot. As the morning progressed, I could see he was laboring to breath. Shortly after that, Dr. Fixler arrived with his assistant. I had 'G' laying on a comforter with pillows, in his favorite spot in the living room. Dr. Fixler took time to speak with 'G', helping to put him at ease. The first shot was a pain killer and sedative, that helped to relax him. I was right there, talking to my 'G', holding him and loving on him the entire time. A while later, Dr. Fixler did a second injection by IV, and shortly thereafter, 'G' just peacefully went to sleep, his pain and suffering were over.

I want to thank Dr. Fixler and his assistant, for the caring and compassionate way they treated my 'G'. They took the time to explain the whole procedure to me from beginning to end, and there was never a rush to get it done. It was a procedure that I wasn't looking forward to, but as it happened, I was grateful for the way things went for my 'G'. He's now up there in the heavens, whole again and pain free, running along Rainbow Bridge.

I would totally recommend this company! The doctor was so patient and kind . Explained everything. Answered all my questions. They treated my dog with such dignity and respect. Quick and painless. So wonderful. Just got his ashes back in a beautiful urn. Thank you, thank you so much!!

Dr. Michael was wonderful as we said goodbye to our dog Harriette. She was in so much pain; the decision to end her pain was made so much easier as the staff came to our home and explained the entire process. They allowed me to grieve and tell stories of her 14 years with our family.

Just had the service done by the doc and his assistant they were very professional and very caring. They made Wilma's journey to the rainbow bridge as best as possible.

Dr. Fixler and his assistant, Jasmine, came to our home last Monday to help our beloved, almost 13 year old Greyhound, to the Rainbow Bridge. They handled George with such tenderness, and his passing was peaceful. He was in his own bed with us nearby and it helped all of us to know that he was comfortable. Dr. Fixler explained how our Great Dane would probably react and he was so correct. We are at peace with our decision and would not hesitate to contact Happy Endings when the time comes for another pet to cross over.

We had a very large (Mastiff) and difficult dog. My greatest fear was seeing him stressed and fearful in his final moments. Recognizing Dublin's anxiety and capacity to get aggressive, Dr. Fixler worked with me to make Dubs calm and relaxed. His final moments were peaceful, calm, pain free and stress free. We got to say our final goodbyes knowing he was finally beyond his pain. We are forever grateful Dr. Fixler.

We called the AM our boy was so sick, Dr Michael and Alicia came so fast, I could not imagine Chief suffering the entire day. Dr Michael came in and gave us such comfort knowing our decision was correct. We have been heart broken, but know, our Boy "Chief" was taken care of with respect and comfort. We are snowbirds spending our winters in AZ with our beloved 14 year old cat, Samson, who loved the sun and warmth as much as we do. When Samson became very ill and we knew he wouldn't get better, we didn't want to subject him to the long trip home in the car. After that difficult decision, we contacted Happy Endings.

Dr. Fixler came to our house, thoroughly explained everything and allowed us all the time we needed to hold Sam, give him our last words of love, and say good-bye. Samson passed quickly and peacefully. Dr. Fixler and his assistant are caring, compassionate, understanding and professional. Dr. Fixler and his staff ware complete professionals. They explained everything that would happen, and then they administered the sedative. They gave us all the time we needed to say goodbye. I am truly grateful for Dr. Fixler making this process less traumatic by doing it at home. It would have been difficult to move my dog Harley to the Canfield on the other side of town because it was last second. This was easier on my family and on my dog. My brave little guy, Sparky, was diagnosed with an incurable form of cancer earlier this year. After months of treatment to prevent the cancer from spreading and to give him the highest quality of life, Sparky started to decline. I knew I wanted to do an in-home euthanasia if possible when the time came. I did some research and chose Dr. Fixler and Happy Endings based on all the positive reviews and the description of the procedure on their website. When his oncologist said it was time, I told her of my decision and she recommended Happy Endings as well.

Dr. Fixler was so kind and understanding. He gave Sparky the first injection while he was in my arms, and he had a look of absolute contentment on his face as his pain was relieved. Dr. Fixler let me take all the time I needed before the final injections were administered. Sparky went peacefully in seconds, which was such a relief. I know I made the right choice with in-home euthanasia, and I am so grateful to Dr. Fixler and Happy Endings for making Sparky's final moments peaceful and pain-free.

I cannot express enough gratitude for the expertise and compassion Dr. Fixler and his wife provided to us and our beloved 13 year old lab, Kodi. I first made contract with Dr. Fixler's wife Alicia, who on a weekend took time to speak with me and listen to simple story of my very sick dog "Petey". We talked and she said to call back after my husband and I talked and they would do whatever they could to help. On Tuesday Dr. Fixler and Jasmine came to our home to help Petey make it over to the Rainbow Bridge. My husband and I want to thank you for being compassionate and caring through such a heartbreaking time for us. Through our many tears, Dr. Fixler you helped us find the grace to let go. Rest in Peace Petey.

Over the course of 6 months or so; my 15 year old Chow/G.Shepherd mix Nefertiti (Titi) started experiencing the effects of old age. She had other health issues as well. Our vet said she most likely had cancer, and at over 15, it was more important to gauge her quality of life rather than extensive treatments. As her health steadily declined to the point of carrying her outside to potty and losing over 30 lbs of mass, it was her time. I came across Happy Endings and called them as I wanted her to be at home, comfortable, and stress free when it was time. From the time they arrived; Dr. Fixler and his assistant were very professional, soft spoken, and empathetic. They introduced themselves to Titi, then explained what was going to happen. It was very quick, painless, and my girl didn't even know what was happening. They gave her a shot to relax her, relieve pain, and make her sleepy. Once the shot took effect, we laid her in her bed, made her very comfortable, I petted her and whispered in her ear as the iv was inserted into her leg. Dr. Fixler then gave her the shot to cross the rainbow bridge. She passed quickly and peacefully. I thank Dr. Fixler for his empathy, professionalism, and efficiancy in helping our furbaby cross the rainbow bridge the most peaceful and comfortable way possible.

Thank you very much for the service you provide. it was so non-stressful compared to trying to get our ailing family member to the vet or emergency care. Dr Fixler was more than we could have hoped for. His bedside manner for our dog and for us was incredible! And speaking to his wife on the phone was very comforting also. I'm very sorry that I met you at the door and said "you had a terrible job"; you have a very HARD job that you do extremely well and we are most grateful for that!

We had owned our English Mastiff, Braxton, for almost 12 years when we needed to call Dr. Fixler to request euthanasia. Dr. Fixler and his assistant were able to come to our house within an hour. The night before I had realized that I probably would have to have Braxton euthanized since all four of his legs were non-functional to some degree. Two of his four legs were very seriously in pain or inoperative, and we had gone as far as we could with aspirin, over the counter medications and Tramydol. Dr. Fixler and his assistant took time with Braxton to evaluate how serious his condition was and agreed that at age 12, even if his condition were to be Valley Fever--which is treatable in a younger dog, Braxton was past that point. Having confirmation that there was no other options than a painful life for his remaining days, which would not be many, we reluctantly agreed to have Braxton put to sleep. Although we don't hear that term much anymore, Dr. Fixler's does! His method is similar to techniques used 30 years ago when animals were actually "put to sleep" rather than being put down. Braxton slept comfortably and with his usual snoring, showing his relaxation, before he very slowly stopped breathing. If I ever need to have an animal euthanized in the future and Dr. Fixler is not available, I will plan to contact him into his old age to get recommendations for someone who will use a similar technique as their technique for euthanizing animals. His practice is an excellent one, and I am deeply grateful to him for helping us in this difficult time. Whereas I felt that this in-home euthanasia would be very expensive, it was similar to when I had to have my Great Danes euthanized 10 and 20 years ago. Our whole family was extremely pleased with his practice and happily recommend him to others.

It has been 6 days since our beloved Suka passed. We truly toiled with the decision to end her pain and suffering, but knew it was time for her. Her vet of 10 years recommended Happy Endings and I am so glad she did. What Dr. Fixler and his staff do - I can't even put into words how much it meant to us. They were extremely compassionate and explained every step of the process to us. They allowed us as much time as we needed to say goodbye properly throughout the entire visit. It would have been an entirely different experience if we had had to bring her to a vet's office and be in a cold, sterile environment. I believe there is no place Suka would have rather been than at home with us holding her the entire time. I hope she is having fun with all of her doggie friends above! Knowing almost nothing about the characteristics of Harry Potter from the book series, I googled for some information about him. Turns out, my beloved Siberian husky with the same name just might have had most of the same traits as the book hero. In his nearly 14-1/2 years, Harry was a gentle dog with extraordinary powers. He had the typical stubbornness of a Sibe but an unusual loving influence upon every creature he met. Adults, children, dogs, cats & even an occasional owl or coyote were all fascinated by his comical gentle nature as he talked his way into their hearts causing them to want to get nearer to him. More than one neighborhood cat came out to greet Harry and rub on his legs. Other seemingly aggressive dogs would stop in their tracks as Harry spoke sweetly to them. Defensive bulldogs & hyper chihuahuas became his best pals. So maybe his name was predestined as I read some of Harry Potter's characteristics...enchanted intelligence, commanding respect, never threatening, sensitive, determined, responsible, caring, selfless, humble, brave (tremendously brave), loyal, funny, outgoing, slightly reckless, courageous, daring gently protective, a leader. Harry was my 6th Siberian husky in 46 years (all gifts from friends) so last month when he gave me the signs I asked for, I made the call to Dr. Fixler of Happy Ending Euthanasia who came to my house to give Harry a quality of life exam and to help Harry be unafraid while still commanding the respect he so deserved in his departure. It was the best decision I have ever made on Harry's behalf. Dr. Fixler and his assistant made a difficult time the perfect, peaceful, and right way to say good bye to a most tender spirit and my beloved friend.

A couple days ago we had to face the reality that the time had come to do the humane thing and put our sweet dog Duke down. It was very hard to make that decision but we were comforted knowing we had called the right people. Dr Tucker and his assistant was so efficient and gentle with our pup. They explained everything that was going to happen and gave us the time we needed to say our good buys. We wanted to thank Happy Endings for their services.

I would like to thank Happy Endings for being so sensitive and caring during one of the hardest experiences I’ve ever had to go through in my life. I really appreciate that there was an in-home service available. My dog, Bandit, was 14+ years and unable to walk anymore. Being a large dog I was trying to imagine how I was going to carry him. How uncomfortable, stressed and how confused he would be wondering what’s going on once he entered the vet’s office. All those fears were laid to rest once I contacted Happy Endings. With all the love and happiness he gave me in his 14 years, the greatest gift I could give to him was a peaceful experience. No matter how hard and painful it was for me to let him go, it gave me peace knowing it was a very peaceful and happy ending for him. So thank you again from the bottom of my heart for what you do and all your compassion. There are not enough words to express how much you are appreciated.

I emailed Dr. Fixler late Friday. My best friend, a Border Collie named Blaze, was no longer able to walk or stand due to spinal cancer. The next morning Dr. Fixler's wife phoned and arranged a time on Saturday for the procedure to be done. When Dr. Fixler arrived he was very kind and handled Blaze like he would his own beloved pet. He explained each step of the process and made me feel very at ease. My Blaze went calmly in my arms and in his own home surrounded by love. Thank you to Dr. Fixer, his wife and assistant. What remarkable and kind people.

There aren't enough words available in the english vocabulary to properly describe the compassion and care of the people at Happy Endings in ensuring a dignified farewell to long-loved furry best friends. The oldest of our three pugs was approaching diminished quality of life, and we were forced to face our final loving kindness for our beloved Argus. Dr. Fixler and his wife did everything to ensure a comfortable and solemn good-bye that was relaxing and loving. Our pets often embody the deepest of our love, and the intense grief Dr. Fixler and his wife must experience on a weekly basis would overwhelm lesser people. Thankfully, we have them and their willingness to perform this valuable service.

My appreciation to Dr Fixler and his assistant is so long overdue. I had known for a while it was time for both of my fur babies to head over the Rainbow bridge but could not bring myself to make the call. I knew it had to be done at home most importantly because they both deserved to go together in the peace and comfort of their own home, but also I could not get both of the to the vets office with one being too large to jump in the car and I couldn't lift him, my other crippled with arthritis and not able to walk more than a few feet. Dr Fixler and his assistant were so caring and compassionate of my feelings and making sure my babies were comfortable and treated with the dignity they both deserved so much. Never once did I feel rushed or pressured because of another appointment or anything. I was given all the time I needed to say my goodbyes. Sending one fur baby over the bridge is extremely hard, but sending two over together is heart wrenching and I can't thank you enough for your service and caring during such a difficult time.

This was the ending that our Jetters well deserved, and it\'s the best that could've ever been offered to him. He was in the comfort of his own home, on his own bed, surrounded by those who loved him deeply. Myself and my family admire how gentle and empathetic the individuals were who came to our home to operate. They explained the whole situation and told us what to expect, and were completely understanding of how each of us, including Jetters, felt.

Making the call to Happy Endings was so painful, but I knew our Maddie's time had come, with end-stage kidney failure. My call was received with such compassion, and the appointment for the following day was quickly set. Dr. Fixler and his assistant arrived as scheduled, with an advance call to let us know they were on their way. When they arrived, they entered our home very quietly so our dog was not disturbed.

Dr. Fixler gently petted Maddie and then set about the preparations. Our dog (who feared car rides, and vet visits, and strangers) gave no evidence of anxiety or stress throughout the procedure.

I can only say, thank goodness such practices as Dr. Fixler's exist. They made the unthinkable as gentle and respectful a process as can be imagined. We are completely grateful that our Maddie was able to pass on peacefully at home, without fear or stress. Thank you.

Dr. Fixler was so caring. It was important to us that Rufus was in a peaceful environment during this difficult time. It was a very peaceful time. Thank you so much. I would recommend this to anyone who has to go through this very difficult period.

My husband Michael and I want to thank Dr. Fixler from the bottom of our hearts. On New Years Eve he came on short notice for our beloved dog Delta. He confirmed to us after examining her that there was no hope and that she had a brain tumor. I can't say enough or ever repay what peace he gave Delta and us.

Dr. Fixler and his staff provide an amazing service. I agonized about deciding when and how to determine my sweet Beko`s last day but Dr. Fixler and his team made the decision and last moments with my baby endurable. Dr. Fowler offered his opinion and a few words that relieved me of any indecision and stress. He allowed my other 3 dogs to remain present for the euthanasia. I respect and love my regular vet but Dr. Fixler and team provide a precious and priceless service. Holding my Beko at his last moments assured me I had loved him as much as he had deserved. I am thankful for Dr. Fixler and his team sharing their compassion and knowledge.

As tough as it was to make the decision to put our 10 yr old kitty Minnie down, we equally were blessed with the peace of doing what was right for her by having Dr Fixler come to the home. We appreciated the concern shown by Dr Fixler...looking over Minnie's medical records and his support for our decision. It meant so much.
